What We Believe
Tenets Of Faith

At Full Gospel Christian Center, our beliefs are grounded in the Word of God and centered on Jesus Christ. The following statements reflect the foundational truths we hold and teach.

We Believe

The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God in its original writings and is the complete and final revelation of God for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21

The One True God
We believe in one God who is personal and eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4; John 6:27; Acts 5:3–4; 1 John 5:20

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven.
John 1:1–14; John 20:30–31; 1 Timothy 3:16

The Sinfulness of Humanity
We believe that all people are sinners, guilty before God, deserving of judgment, and in need of a Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 3:19–26; Romans 5:12

Salvation
We believe that salvation from sin, death, and hell is by God’s grace alone, accomplished through the work of Jesus Christ, and received by faith apart from human merit or works.
John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:1–10

We Believe

The Holy Spirit
We believe that all believers in Jesus Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live obedient and holy lives separated from sinful habits and lifestyles.
John 14:16–18; Ephesians 5:15–21

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This experience is available to all believers, provides power to be witnesses for Christ, and is evidenced by speaking in tongues and the manifestation of other spiritual gifts.
Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44–48; 1 Corinthians 12:1–11

Biblical Marriage
We believe that Biblical marriage is a holy and sacred covenant established by God between one man (male at birth) and one woman (female at birth). We believe that Biblical marriage is the foundation for the family and essential to human society as ordained by God.
Genesis 1:27–28; Genesis 2:18–25; Genesis 5:1–2; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:9; John 2:1–2; Romans 7:1–3

We Believe

The Return of Christ
We believe in the visible and bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth to judge the world and to claim His Bride, the Church.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Revelation 1:7

Eternal Destiny
We believe in the eternal punishment of the unbeliever in hell and the eternal life of the believer in heaven.
Matthew 25:46; John 14:1–3; 2 Thessalonians 1:8–10; Revelation 20:11–15

The Church
We believe that all believers should gather in local churches for mutual edification, encouragement, evangelism, service, and worship.
Acts 2:41–47; Acts 14:21–27; Ephesians 4:1–16

Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing for the human body, made available through the finished work of Christ and received through the prayer of faith.
1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14–15

Ordinances of the Church
We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances established by Christ and should be practiced by the Church.
Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–10; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Statement against Antisemitism
Full Gospel Christian Center recognizes the nature of racism that affects all racial and socially marginalized groups by any form of discrimination and segregation and condemn such actions as sin.
Galatians 3:28 - NIV. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

With the generations of the Holocaust and the genocide that extinguished six million Jews, including 1.5 million children the hatred of Anti-Semitism is again increasing worldwide since October 7, 2023.

US Congress has understood the present threat of antisemitism and on May 18*, 2022 passed HR 1125 condemning the rise of antisemitism in all forms.

Full Gospel Christian Center recognizes the unique history and targeting of Jewish people that have been plagued societies and the church for thousands of years. Recent social, political and economic upheaval has led to increase of targeting the Jewish community.

Criminal antisemitic attacks on American Jews have likewise increased while many religious institutions ignore the growing danger of antisemitism.

Full Gospel Christian Center has the belief that we shall undeniably support the Jewish people and the Jewish nation by rejecting every source, vehicle, or channel of Anti-Semitism and making clear to all people of our stand against Anti-Semitism and all forms of racism against Jewish groups and any ethnic group.

Full Gospel Christian Center purposes to reject any form of hatred, verbal abuse, negative stereotype, conspiracy thelies, propaganda, and attack on the lives of Jewish people.

We proposed to address anti-Semitic theological beliefs and reject any fabrication that the Bible is anti-Jewish. We resolve biblically to bless the Jewish people as we anticipate and pray for their spiritual redemption.

Genesis 12:2-3 - Blessings and Curses
"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you;
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
31 will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you l will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Romans 11: 25-26 - NIV- All Israel Will Be Savedi do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
"The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

Full Gospel Christian Center will long bless the Jewish people. We prophetically embrace the salvation of national Israel. With the celebration and widespread publicity of significant numbers of Jewish people coming to faith in Messiah Jesus.

We stand with Christian leaders and preachers against the ongoing anti-Semitism of the Jewish nation.
